Calling all artists! Interested in creating a design that will be featured on T-shirts and other merchandise to be proudly worn and displayed by members of the Taiwanese-American community? TAP-DC is hosting a merchandise design contest! This contest is open to EVERYONE, so you do NOT have to be a member of TAP-DC to participate. We encourage you to get creative!!
Rules & Requirements:
TAP-DC T-shirt designs MUST include the text “TAP-DC” within the image
Please do NOT include the text "2022" within the image, or any other reference to the current date
You can choose to submit a design that is meant to be printed on the front of a T-shirt, the back of a T-shirt, or both
Submit your TAP-DC T-shirt design via email to jennifer.chen@tap-dc.org
Please include 2 images as attachments in your email submission: 1 high-quality image of the design itself, 1 image of the design placed on a T-shirt (see example images below)
Any image format will be accepted, as long as we can clearly see the design for judging purposes. If your design is selected as the winner, and we need a higher quality image for the actual printing on the T-shirt, we will reach out to request it from you
Email submissions are due by: 11:59pm on Thursday, June 30th
TAP-DC T-shirt designs will be judged based on creativity, practicality, and how the design represents TAP-DC
By July 8th, the winner will be notified via email and announced on the TAP-DC Instagram and the TAP-DC Merch Design Contest Facebook event page https://www.facebook.com/events/485209506710650(https://www.facebook.com/.../www.../events/485209506710650
Prizes: The winner will receive a free TAP-DC T-shirt printed with your design! AND a dozen homemade cookies of your choice: double chocolate chip (gluten-free), oatmeal raisin (gluten-free and vegan), black sesame, or apricot jam-filled butter cookies! We can personally deliver the prizes to anyone in the DMV area. If outside the DMV area, don't worry, we will cover shipping!
